Hi everyone, we are having an event at the Julie Rose Stadium Ashford, on Saturday 1st October at 9.45am. Barry and Pete will be doing a track training session and Podplus will be carrying out some free gait analysis. We have the track for one and a half hours. It would be nice to get as many people there as we can.

Just to say that the Cross Country dates have been posted. Obviously its not something you have to do, but it is £4 for the whole series which is great value for money these days and is supporting your county in the process. THE GIVAUDAN 10K IS ON THE 9TH OCTOBER, so luckily they don't clash with it. This is its 30th year anniversary so it would be nice to get some vests out for it as well. Please email JC if you would like to have a go at the cross country; [email protected]

The South Kent Harriers A team went unbeaten in all five relays and were crowned champions at Canterbury Track on Tuesday 6th June. From Left to right, Jack Goss, Richard Newsome and Ali Scott. Missing from the photo was Mike Coleman who won the first leg. Also representing the A Team was John Creane who provided much needed experience at crucial moments. Duncan Carter as well contributed with some very fast runs.
Also we are very proud of the Ladies team who finished 3rd. This is the first time a SKH ladies team has won something and credit must go to all the coaches who are working so hard at the club.
Pictured are Lauren Fearne (left) and Lucy Parkinson (right). Missing is Rachel Winterbottom who proved a great asset to the team. Marie Watson also ran for the A team to help secure 3rd spot.
Lastly, but not least, the B team finished joint first in their league. Fine efforts from Martin King, Dan Carter, Keith Renault and Jim Roberts.

Tremendous efforts by team Skh at the Deal Half marathon around the country lanes from Betteshanger Park. Running back into a headwind and being pummelled by hail stones, not exactly for the feint hearted. Ali Scott finished a fantastic 8th in 1.21.22, next picking up the V50 prize in 12th in 1.25.11 was James Mcneill, then Glen Abel in 17th in1.28.52, followed by Martin King in 18th in1.29.27. Supported by Keith Renault, whose brother Neil raced home to victory in1.12.11.
